The Berry History and Science Room features items ranging from the prehistory of the
Vernon area to items featuring Roy Orbison and Jack Teagarden, both Vernon natives. |
Waggoner Room |
Are you interested in ranching history? The headquarters of the historic Waggoner Ranch are in Vernon, Texas. The museum's
Waggoner Room features exhibits on ranch history as well as sculptures by the talented Electra
Waggoner Biggs and a replica of her art studio. |
Traveling Room |
The Traveling Room Galleries provide a place for temporary exhibits that change approximately every two months. |
Early Vernon History |
In the Early Vernon History Room, glimpses into the businesses, homes and leisure
activities give the visitor a feel for the people who lived here from the mid 1800's.

A collection of area school yearbooks provides entertainment as well as information for
former students as well genealogists.

The museum has a small gift shop and bookstore with a variety of interesting, affordable merchandise.
